Wominjeka to Foundation

We acknowledge that we are gathered on the traditional lands of the Kulin Nation and particularly, the Wurundjeri people. We pay our respects to the elders of our community, past, present and future, for they hold the customs, the culture and hopes of Indigenous Australia. The land upon which we are gathered, is, was and always will be, Aboriginal Land.

Kii (hello) and ngoon-godgin (thank you) so much for enrolling at Thornbury Primary School (TPS). We are really looking forward to meeting your child and helping them gurrin gurrin (to grow) into our school community.

It has been a challenging year for so many, and we know that you probably have lots of questions and concerns about the coming year. Rest assured that we are doing our best to get ready for your child so they can have a fantastic start to their school life.

This booklet aims to assist you in making a smooth transition to school. If you have further questions please do not hesitate to discuss these with the Foundation teachers or our principal; David Wells.
