Prayer for Peace

We the troubled times being faced by the people of Israel and Gaza, a prayer for has been shared by Archbishop Peter Comensoli. You may like to pause and and pray to the God of Peace.

I ask people of good will – and all our Catholic communities in Melbourne – 

to join me in prayer to the God of Peace. 

Pray for those who have tragically died. 

Pray for all who are caught up in the depths of this horror. 

Pray for conversion of hearts and pathways to reconciliation. May there be renewed efforts globally 

to build fraternity and foster a shared dignity. 

God of light, who created 

all peoples in your own image, 

be with us now and always.
