Homework Policy

Thank you to everyone who responded to the Homework Survey that was conducted last month. We received 97 responses with a high majority of families believing that homework should be given to students and that it is an important part of learning. The comments and suggestions made by parents gave us valuable information and together, with staff and the Education Sub-committee, the attached Homework Policy was created.  

Please take the time to read through this policy, in particular the Shared Expectations and Responsibilities. Teachers will be communicating the homework expectations for their particular year level at the beginning of the year to both parents and students, and will reiterate this throughout the year.
