Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Who doesn’t like dinner and a show? It was a special date night for my youngest daughter and myself last Thursday night when we attended Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. An early Thai dinner followed by a night of spectacular performances both on and off the stage. There is something magical in seeing our students take to the stage and show off their amazing acting and singing skills. Seeing young men express themselves in different ways is something that we should be encouraging all our young men at the College to do, at least on their journey through school. Not only was the cast amazing but full credit must go to our staff and students who were involved in producing the sets. There was so much creativity and the carefully choreographed, acting, singing and stage production were second to none. I would also like to commend our musicians, while they were behind the scenes, the music was so well done, and it showed off the array of talent that we have at our school. The stage crew were perfect in moving sets on, off and around the stage.
Congratulations to all the staff and students involved in this production. They continue to raise the bar every year. I cannot wait to see what is in store for next year.
I wish you all a safe and happy holiday. Enjoy the time together with your families over the next three weeks.
