Regional Cross Country 

Last week our top cross country runners competed at Regional Cross Country. Students were competing against the best of the best for Brisbane. The whole team ran exceptionally well, and represented the school with pride. 

A special congratulations to Daisy C who placed 2nd in the 18-19 Girls division. 

District Cross Country 

On the 30 of April our cross country runners competed at the District Cross County. We saw some fantastic results with many students progressing to the regional level. We wish to congratulate the following students placed in the top 3 for their age level. 

Futsal 

This week our U16’s boys competed in the Finals of the Queensland Futsal League and came away with a Silver medal. 32 Schools entered and over the course of the term the boys have played 16 different matches to earn their spot in the Grand Final against Chancellor. These students give their all every match and their hard work has paid off. 

Athletics/Fitness opportunities

Students are encouraged to speak with Mr. Dodd or Mr. Moran if they are interested in attending organized fitness training in the lead up to the Athletics Carnival. There will be 2 training sessions per week from 7:00 am – 8:00 am on Tuesday and Thursday. We will meet at the oval on these mornings. Look forward to seeing you there!

Mountain Biking 2024! 

Today we have 24 of our students competing in Toowoomba for our 2nd last event for the year. We have been looking forward to representing the school at this event and we will share the results and a few photos in our next newsletter.
