Wellbeing

This week our school have recognised National Reconcilaiton Week. It is a time for all us to learn about cultures and shared histories. It encourages us to think about how we can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. It reminds us that everyone has a role to play in successfully building relationships that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their history and culture.

Reconciliation of any kind is an important part of our Catholic faith and living as Jesus would want us to live. Many of the messages and values align with the way we live out life and interact with each other. Our SEL sessions focus on respecting others and valuing their experiences.

This week we joined together for a reverant Reconciliation Liturgy. Classes have prayed the Aborignal Our Father and completed activities in their classrooms.

Below our some photos of what classes have done this week.
