Year 8 Italian Incursion

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming Giovanna Amatruda from the Italian Language Centre as a guest during our Year 8 Italian class. Students engaged in various activities to learn vocabulary and grammar about eating at the restaurant on which they will be assessed at the end of this term. 

Year 8 Italian students had an opportunity to practice their speaking skills, and reinforce their listening skills and verb conjugation in Italian through a role-play activity, in which each student had a chance to play a different part at an Italian restaurant (e.g. client, waitress, cashier, kitchen staff).
