Carlsruhe Annexe /

Main Campus - Year 4

What a busy couple of weeks we have had in Year 4 since our last Newsletter item!

4LS have settled back into daily life at Woodend, catching up with friends and taking the opportunity to enjoy the playgrounds and oval.

4SM have confidently taken on new experiences and challenges at Carlsruhe, with 4AI supporting them in learning how to take care of our animals and grounds around the campus. It has been lovely to see the enthusiasm and supportive cooperation shown by everyone.

The new cubby designs are well underway, with an amazing variety of imaginative designs being built. Some of these include; The Flamingo Tango Cafe with its delicious food, music at AFS Drumming and Dreaded Moon Studios, a bowling alley and catwalk runway in The Faraway Tree, tennis, bowling and parkour challenges at Fun Park Designs and many more.

Here are some pictures of these impressive creations.

With the weather getting colder and wetter at Carlsruhe, it would be great if students could bring in gumboots or old shoes for jobs so that school shoes don’t get too muddy. We also do not wear shoes inside the classroom at this time of year, so a pair of cosy slippers or crocks are helpful too.

Last week Year 4 students confidently participated in a French poetry reciting competition and some of the students in 4LS enthusiastically shared this with the whole school during assembly.
