Captains Corner

Welcome to Captain’s Corner term 2 week 7, the past few weeks Woodend Primary School students above year 2, have been taking the bus to Kyneton Aquatic Center and they have been attending part of the swimming program, funded by the government.

This means, for kids who cannot swim, they will be provided with lessons and be taught the basics and harder techniques.

That is of course based on their level. This program will not only enhance your child's swimming, but also give them a better understanding of safety around, or in water.

On another note, we have our school disco night! It's on the 14th of June and is run by the PFA. If you are able to come, we would love it! The night includes lots of dancing, music, and so much fun! It's also a fundraiser for the school, so all the money goes towards better equipment, and facilities!

Before we end this letter, we would like to congratulate the people who went on Tuesday and represented Woodend Primary in Regional Cross Country.

Thank you, Captain's Corner signing out!
