Stage 1 students are active learners. In writing, students created comics that persuaded their parents to buy them a pet. Using effective persuasive words, interesting adjectives and contractions, students planned and composed arguments in graphic form. During mathematics lessons,students learnt to read the time on analog clocks. Students manipulated the hands on the clock to represent o’clock, half past and quarter hour. Time flies when we are having fun in Stage 1!
On Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th May, Stage 1 students enjoyed learning outdoors at Kamay Bay Education Centre. They experienced fun filled activities about the Past in the Present, which aligned with their History unit. Students explored artefacts and learnt about significant places in the Botany Bay area. They even got to dress up and complete chores!
