Awards Ceremonies

We are looking forward to our Awards Ceremony this coming Friday to acknowledge the outstanding accomplishments, hard work, and notable achievements of our Year 9 and 10 students. 

Lost Property

Year 9 and 10 students are reminded to check 'Lost Property' held in the Middle School Office by Friday, 6 December. School items, including books, clothing, etc., not collected by this date will be disposed of.

Year 9 Ceramics 

While the Year 9 Tasmania camp was on, a group of Year 9 students at school, enjoyed a FUN class making a large clay planter!

Year 10 Art Exhibition

Students in the Year 10 Painting and Drawing class have their work on display at the Round Bird Cafe, Lilydale.

For this task, students studied the Archibald Prize, one of Australia's most prestigious art awards, and were instructed, as part of this task, to choose an Australian identity as their subject.

They looked at past Archibald Prize winners for inspiration and researched their subject to make informed decisions on the direction of their work. In doing so, they explored a range of painting techniques and symbolism to represent specific qualities of their chosen subject.

Year 10 Food Truck Festival

In  November, students in Ms Marshall’s and Ms Sommer's Year 10 Cooking for Company classes completed their Design Prac. This was their major task for the semester.

Students had to plan their own recipes, multiply them to serve staff, and create flyers to promote the food trucks.

The students did an amazing job; the feedback from staff was FANTASTIC!  Congratulations to both classes.

Spaghetti Tower!

The first week of Step-Up into Year 10, Ms Hemmings, Year 10 Thrive class worked in small groups to construct a spaghetti tower in 18 minutes!

The winning tower measured 35cm!  Well done!

2025 Year 10 

Central Australia Camp

As part of the 2025 Year 10 program, Middle School is offering students the opportunity to go on a 5-day camp to Central Australia from, Monday 28 April to Friday 2 May, 2025.

Students will visit;Uluru, Uluru-Kat Tjuta, Uluru-Watarrka National Park, Kings Canyon, Alice Springs

A deposit payment $500 (non refundable) is required to be paid on Compass or at the School Office by FRIDAY 13 DECEMBER, to secure your child's place on the camp

2025 Year 11 

Presentation Ball

Sunday 30 March, Crown Palladium

All Year 10 students are invited to participate in the 2025 Year 11 Presentation Ball.  

This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to present themselves to the school community in a formal setting. 

Parents/Carers to ensure your child has a place, FULL payment of $425 per student is to be paid on Compass by Friday 31 January, 2025. 

The Presentation Ball is run by Danielle DeVine.  For all enquiries, please call Danielle on 9735 5644 during school hours.
