Leadership Report
Farewells and New Beginnings
This morning at our last assembly for 2024 we bid our final farewells to the staff and students moving on to new adventures in 2025.
Finn Fitzgerald, who has been at Magill School for 13 years, is moving on to work at Grange Primary School.
Clare Willsmore has won a permanent position at St Joseph’s Norwood, after working here for 5 years.
We also farewell Helena Sukno who will be taking maternity leave, and Alex Sun who is moving on to other opportunities.
Inoka and Sarah, Curriculum SSOs, who have joined the staff this year are also moving on.
We wish these staff members all the best for the future and thank them for their valued contributions to the Magill School community.
Our Year 6s performed their Graduation Dance and then got a great send off by walking through the traditional human archway. I am sure they will have many fond memories of Magill School to take with them on the next part of their journey. We will look forward to hearing about their future endeavours when they come back for visits.
Best wishes to the families of Year 6 students who will be moving on.

On a personal note, thank you for the support offered to me over the past 5 weeks, as I have stepped into the Acting Principal role. I have very much appreciated the warmth and positive feedback.
Best wishes to all families for a safe, peaceful and happy holiday break. We will look forward to seeing most of you back in the new year.
Kind regards,
Daniela Lawlor
