Dear families,

PARENTS & FRIENDS MEETING

The next P & F meeting will be on Tuesday 12th November at 6pm at the hotel. Everyone is very welcome to attend. 

WORLD KINDNESS DAY

World Kindness Day is on the 13th November. Students are encouraged to wear a colour of their choice. Please refer to our Sun Protection Policy for guidelines on appropriate  clothing. Throughout the day students will participate in activities around this theme.  On this day, students can enjoy a sausage in bread and a Zooper Dooper. Orders are to be placed on Qkr!

WHOLE SCHOOL EXCURSION

Friday 15th November is the date for our Whole School Excursion to the Bendigo Discovery Science and Technology Centre.  Buses will leave at approximately 8.30am and return at 3.30pm. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the Planetarium Educational Workshop, go on the Vertical Slide and tour the general exhibition. Parents are very welcome to accompany their child on this day. As students will be taking breaks at different times during the day they will require their recess and lunch in their bags. 

SWIMMING PROGRAM GRADE 3-6

Students from Grade 3-6 will have the opportunity to participate in a five day swimming program at Aquamoves from Monday 18th  to Friday 22nd. Grade 3 & 4 students will be in the pool from 1.15pm - 1.45pm. Grade 5 & 6 students will swim from 1.45pm - 2.15pm. 

TRANSITION

Our transition sessions at school provide a smooth entry for children coming from Kindergarten. Jenny Bathman and Stacey Wilkinson provide authentic and engaging school experiences for the children when they come to visit. It is lovely to see the smiles on their faces when they enter the school.

CONCERT

Our concert is only three weeks away on Thursday 28th November. This week students will bring their concert bags (and list from) their classroom teacher next week about what they will need in the way of costumes. Tickets for the night can be purchased via Qkr!

LONG SERVICE LEAVE

Dani is taking LSL until 11th November and Natalie is on leave from the 6th -25th November. Fortunately, we have been able to backfill with staff who are often working in our school
