Look what's been happening in Year 1!

Farm To Table by 1JC

This Term 1JC participated in Farm to Table. The class was divided into two groups, main meal and dessert. It was fun wearing aprons and mixing the ingredients.  We enjoyed sharing and serving the meal to our families.

Term 4 Religious Education

This term the Year 1 students have been exploring prayer as a way of experiencing God. They have practiced different types of prayer forms; such as meditation and contemplative prayer. Here are some examples of their learning this term: 

In Term 4 Year 1 visited the ‘Twisted Science’ museum in Moorabbin. After lots of discussion the students wrote recounts about their experiences. Here are some samples from 1MJ.
