This award is presented to Jayden for showing excellence and effort consistently across his school tasks. Jayden listens to instructions, and I was particularly impressed with the number work on sharing he completed recently. Well done Jayden and keep up all the great work you are doing!
This award goes to Violet for applying her knowledge of persuasive writing features for the topic of “Protecting the Great Barrier Reef”. It is great to see you using rhetorical questions, facts and statistics, and using clear paragraphs to present your piece of writing. Well done Violet.
This award goes to Isla for the perserverance she has demonstrated this week when solving worded maths problems. Despite finding them a bit tricky to begin with, Isla has persisted and is able to identify the important information in the question and draw a diagram to solve the problem. Well done Isla.
Cooper is receiving this award for demonstrating the HEART value of Excellence in Writing this week. He organised his writing into paragraphs and used Google Docs to publish his work. Cooper then carefully added detail to his border to present his work in a visually appealing way. Keep up the great work, Cooper!
This award is presented to Paravvir for showing two Scoresby values of Acceptance and Respect. Paravvir demonstrated these values by supporting one of his peers when they were upset, showing empathy and concern and ensuring their wellbeing. Thank you Paravvir, for being such a caring and thoughtful friend!
This award goes to Brodie for the improvement he has made when focusing on his writing this week. Brodie has been drafting a persuasive text, using his plan to guide him. Brodie, it is wonderful to see you working hard to improve your writing.
This award goes to Zahra for the awesome effort you put into your captaincy speech. You have shown Excellence and dedication towards writing a fantastic speech. I am so proud of you for getting up in front of the microphone and your classmates and speaking so well! It shows courage to do that, and you have proven that hard work really pays off! This award is presented to Hannah for her dedication and teamwork during the Arcade Game project. She effectively took on feedback, engaged in thoughtful discussions with her team, and applied the necessary changes to enhance their work. You are a fantastic teammate, Hannah. Well done!
This award is presented to Tenzin for demonstrating the Scoresby HEART values. This term, Tenzin displayed Excellence by helping to organise the Boys Netball Day. He played a key role in facilitating training sessions and organising positions for the event. Tenzin, your inclusive attitude and the way you support others are truly commendable. I am so proud to be your teacher this year!
This award goes to Summer for her remarkable improvement in Chinese learning over the past few weeks. In class, Summer has been more focused on her learning and has actively raised her hand to confidently pronounce Chinese words. She has shown great progress in her Chinese learning journey. Well done, Summer! Keep up the excellent work!
This award goes to Milla for the HEART value of Excellence. Milla's attention to detail was demonstrated in her fantastic Graduation Bear. She sewed three items of clothing and included a blueprint plan to signify that her bear is an architect. Brilliant work and effort Milla!
