Kindergarten to Year 2 Swimming Carnival

Although our newly refurbished swimming pool is inching ever closer to completion, the rescheduled date for the Kindergarten to Year 2 Swimming Carnival in early December might have been slightly too ambitious!

Given the need to ensure students involved in the carnival are also suitably prepared beforehand, it is extremely likely that our carnival will need to be postponed this term. 

In the meantime, we will continue to wait with bated breath for the pool to be finished and know that it will certainly be worth it when our students begin using this magnificent facility again!

Aspire – Outside School Hours Care

A reminder that Aspire has been handpicked as the Junior School’s provider for student care outside of regular school hours. 

Aspire offers Before School (7am to 8.30am), After School (3pm to 6pm), and Holiday Care (7am to 6pm) services for all students across Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6.

School Uniform Shop - Temporary Closure

The School Uniform will be closed on the following days due to a stocktake:

• Friday 22 November
• Monday 25 November
• Tuesday 26 November

The School Uniform Shop will re-open on Wednesday 27 November at 9am.

Two of a Kind - A Summer Holiday Reading Activity

TPHS Library invites Parents/Carers of students in Years 7 to 10 to participate in 'Two of a kind – a Summer holiday reading activity'.

What is ‘Two of a Kind’?

Each Parent/Carer and child will:

• Engage in shared holiday reading
• Receive a copy of the same book – the title, author and genre will remain a mystery until it comes home and you and your child unwrap it together
• Read the book and share your thoughts and opinions – a mini book club

Why is reading important?

Reading with your child:

• Teaches them important lessons about the world, behaviour and feelings
• Models that reading is a lifelong passion, not something that is limited to the school years
• Creates special moments with children

If you would like to participate, please register via this link before December 1.  Books will be sent home with your child in Week 8 and should be returned at the start of the 2025 school year.
