Excursions galore at PVS!

Thank you to all of our amazing staff for organising and coordinating these fantastic events.

Outdoor Classroom Day 2024 was enjoyed by all at Kings Park!

PVS students had a fabulous day engaging in a variety of unique learning experiences made possible by the Kings Park Education Team. In their groups they: learnt about how the park and surrounds have changed throughout time, explored the woodland ecosystem and observed the habitats of native creatures, studied a variety of native plants to learn about how they have adapted to survive in their environment, and practised their teamwork and navigational skills using maps and cardinal points to orienteer around the park.

Caversham Wildlife Park

This term our Numbat and Kangaroo classes had an amazing outdoor excursion at the Caversham Wildlife Park.

Students had the chance to explore and learn about animals from different environments and habitats. They enjoyed interactive exhibits, hands-on feeding activities, and had a close-up experience with nature.

It was a day of fun, discovery, and learning!
