End of Year Concert

Wow, what an evening we had on 18th December!

Firstly, I would like to extend my thanks to the EPS community, staff members, and parent volunteers for your flexibility with the decision to move the EOY Concert date. Despite the change, Wednesday night was truly a special celebration of our students’ talents, the performing arts, and what a way to see out the 2024 school year!

I was so proud of our amazing students. They performed brilliantly - singing with joy, dancing with energy, and giving it their all. Their hard work and enthusiasm shone through in every performance.

A big thank you once again to all EPS staff members and parent volunteers for your incredible efforts. I want to give a special mention to the specialist teaching team, who worked tirelessly to assist with setting up and packing down the event. To everyone that helped and attended, all your support made this night possible and such a success.

I would also like to acknowledge my Performing Arts Captains - Heidi M, Lucy S, and Jean A. They have shown such commitment throughout the school year, and their work as hosts on the night was exceptional. Thank you for being such inspiring young leaders!

To the Battle of the Bands organizers, and especially every member of Lunchbox20 (EPS parent band) on behalf of myself and all the students we would like to thank you, we are truly grateful for the incredible funds you have raised. These funds will go a long way next year in upgrading our instruments and amplifiers to support our ever-growing student rock band program. They will also help us provide additional music classroom resources that all EPS students can enjoy.

Finally, to all our parents and carers and wider school community a BIG thank you from me. I know how busy this time of year can be, and your support for the performing arts program at EPS is truly appreciated. Your presence at the concert created an amazing and memorable opportunity for our students, performing in front of an audience of 1,000 people!

Thank you once again for an unforgettable evening. I look forward to doing it all again in 2026!
