Oscar M - Prep A
Oscar approaches his learning with enthusiasm and an eagerness to challenge himself. He asks many interesting questions, is curious about the world and how things work, and enjoys sharing his knowledge with his classmates. Recently when exploring how animals move, Oscar commented “Some birds fly backwards,” and then wondered “Can all birds fly backwards?” Congratulations Oscar!
Alby P - 3A
Alby has shown an outstanding sense of curiosity this year, consistently displaying a genuine interest in every topic we cover. He is always eager to dive deeper, asking plenty of questions that not only enhance his own understanding but also enrich class discussions. Alby approaches challenging tasks with enthusiasm, always pushing himself to go further and explore new ideas. Your curiosity and commitment to learning Alby, make you a wonderful role model.

Responsibilty
Tommy B - 3A
Tommy has shown incredible dedication and effort throughout the year, but what has been most remarkable this year is his sense of responsibility within the class. Tommy has gone out of his way to ensure that everyone feels included and valued, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all. His kindness and thoughtfulness have made a real difference to the dynamic of our classroom, fostering stronger connections among his peers. Tommy, you should be so proud of the positive influence you’ve had on those around you.

Personal Excellence
Lucy Walsh - Prep B
Lucy is a joyous and responsible member of Prep B. She is always following our class routines and ensuring that things happen as they should. Lucy is a dedicated learner in all learning areas and will always have a red hot go at her work before asking any questions. Lucy always takes on feedback from her teacher and never stops improving on her already terrific work. In writing, Lucy has become an expert at using our Word Wall, and is learning many new words with the /th/ sound.

Excellence in English
Willow G - Prep D
Willow has shown wonderful growth in all areas of English, approaching reading and writing with an eagerness to learn. In writing, Willow has been working hard, taking on teacher feedback to achieve personal excellence. Willow practises her reading skills in and outside of the classroom, putting forward her best efforts in word solving and reading with fluency.

Tom S - 3B
This year Tom has tackled each writing task with a growth mindset. He actively listens during explicit teaching time, and uses this new information to enhance his skills as a writer. Tom often takes risks in his writing by experimenting with new and interesting vocabulary and is starting to find a writing voice that is unique to him.
During our poetry unit, Tom explored each poem type in an authentic way and always had his audience in the forefront of his mind.
Outstanding work Tom, it’s been a pleasure reading your work this year.
Excellence in Maths
Charlotte X - Prep C
Charlotte has embraced all Maths learning this term, focusing on recording her thoughts carefully and accurately. When exploring the topics of addition and sharing, she sought opportunities to challenge herself as a mathematician by choosing two-digit numbers. Charlotte applied her new learning to the larger numbers and found success through perseverance and consistency.

Alison M - 3/4A
Alison has made fantastic progress in Semester 2 in Mathematics. She has enjoyed being challenged and has worked hard to learn and apply new strategies to solve problems, particularly in fractions. Alison should be very proud of the progress she has made, her attitude to the subject has been first class. Well done Alison.
