District Netball
Please see below some of the reports from students who attended the District Netball:
Girls Netball Team
On Friday the 6th of June some of the grade 5\6 girls went to District netball and played on the A team. We all did really well. Our first game was against Willowbank and we won 21-0. Our next game we won 1-0 against Holy Cross, then lost to Braemar 1-15 putting us in third for a pool. Then we played Gisborne in the battle for third. Sadly, we lost 1-16. Overall making us finish fourth. We all had a great day and played really well.

B1 Netball report
On Friday the 6th of June, the year 5s and 6s went down to Cobblebank Stadium in Melton to play district netball. The B1 team did very well, winning their first game against St Brigid’s 5 to 0, but sadly losing their second game against Braemar 13 to 3. They then tied their third game against New Gisborne 5 all, and then won their final against Mt Macedon 12 to 4. Overall, the B1 team came 5th. Thank you to Caroline for coaching our amazing team and also to Mr O for organising the wonderful event.

Girls B team 2
On the 6th of June, the 5/6's went to Cobblebank Stadium in Melton.
The Girls B team 2 versed Holy Cross first and were winning in the first half, then in the second half we got beaten 12-5.
The second game, we versed Gisborne and we lost against them 17-0. It was a crushing defeat.
In the 3rd game, we versed Willowbank and we won 8-1. This was the first game we won!
In our fourth game, we played Mount Macedon and sadly lost.
Our last game, we played St Brigids for the playoff for 7th place, and we won 2-1, putting us in 7th place!

Boys Report
On Friday the 6th of June the Grade 5/6 boys went down to Cobblebank Stadium in Melton. Everyone did so well and had a great time. In the first game we lost to Braemar .Second game we versed St Brigids and also lost. In the third game we versed Gisborne. Lastly we versed Riddles Creek and won. Overall we came 7th. Well done to Connor L, Joe G and Ollie N for shooting all the goals. We would like to give a big thank you to Karli G for coaching.
