Spotlight on Learning Platypus

Exploring Living World with Platypus 1 and 2
In both Science and Korean classes, Platypus 1 and 2 have been exploring the fascinating concept of the Living World. This week, our young scientists took their learning beyond the classroom through field work around the school. Their mission: to observe, identify, and classify living, non-living and once-living things in the environment around them.
As part of our bilingual learning approach, students used the Korean phrase 찾았다! (“I found it!”) during their investigations. This helped them communicate their discoveries with group members and record their observations.
Back in the classroom, this learning journey continued through our writing lessons. Platypus 1 students created eye-catching informative posters about different animals, while Platypus 2 students researched and wrote detailed information reports on the animal, platypus.
