Term 2 So Far!

This week, we celebrated Catholic Schools Week. Just like people on a pilgrimage, we are all on a journey of faith. We learn, we grow, and we help each other along the way, guided by God’s love. This year, we also think about the Jubilee Year 2025, a special time for Catholics around the world. It’s a time to remember God’s mercy and to renew our hope for the future. As pilgrims of hope, we look forward with trust and joy.

Spirit of Catholic Education Mass

On Wednesday, our school leaders travelled to Armidale to attend the Spirit of Catholic Education Mass with Bishop Peter Murphy. Schools from across the Diocese joined together to celebrate this occasion. It was a truly special and inspiring experience for them.

Ascension of the Lord Mass

We gathered as a whole school community to celebrate the Ascension of the Lord Mass. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to reflect and pray together.

Catholic Schools Week Assembly

During our Catholic Schools Week Assembly, we enjoyed a delicious picnic lunch. Then each class presented a fantastic song! We also shared a special cake to celebrate this year's theme: 'Pilgrims of Hope.'

Reconciliation

Last Sunday, nine of our young people participated in the special Rite of Enrolment for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, taking an important step on their sacramental journey.

It was wonderful to see them embrace this significant milestone in their faith development.
