Little Hearts Playgroup

Last Friday was our very first Little Hearts playgroup for 2025 (due to our building program) and we excitedly welcomed over 20 pre schoolers and their families to Sacred Heart. A few families enjoyed a tour of our newly renovated building in anticipation of their children being here in the future. 

Many pre schoolers who came along will be coming into prep in 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to familiarise themselves with our school environment and make some new connections. It is also a great way for parents to connect and get to know one another. 

We started the morning in our Mackillop hall, with plenty of space for play while the parents enjoyed a cuppa. Our Year 6 students are always delighted to join us and interact and play with the pre schoolers. 

Then our wonderful and talented LSO, Carol joined us for some songs and dancing. The Hokey Pokey, 5 little ducks  and the percussion instruments were an absolute hit!

As the sun was shining we were able to venture out into our playground for some outdoor play and the children enjoyed playing with the the year 6 students outdoors.
