Team Kids

Dear Families, 

We hope you're all well and staying warm. Team Kids has been super busy having loads of fun at before and after school care. We have been enjoying some different activities like making paper plate emotion masks which was super fun, and the children came up with some great/funny ideas, we've made peg butterflies, tissue paper flowers and we're growing paper cup grass heads at the moment we're looking forward to styling some funny hairstyles once our grass hair grows! The children have played some group games like opposite hand dodge ball, octopus and in out split and have enjoyed some board games like trouble, guess who, connect four and spot it. This week we celebrated reconciliation week and on Wednesday we painted yellow handprints to mark this occasion. We've read a Dreamtime story "The Rainbow Serpent".  We also did some indigenous dot paintings which the children were very creative with and made some great paintings. We also just wanted to remind children and families that bringing toys or games along from home isn't recommended. We have loads of fun things to do and play with and we don't want anyone's things getting lost or broken so it's probably best to leave them at home. Thanks again and have a great two weeks!
