Year 6 - Charity Fete

Today, our Year 6 students proudly showcased the culmination of their Inquiry unit at our annual Charity Fete. Working collaboratively in small business teams, students demonstrated remarkable creativity, teamwork and entrepreneurial thinking as they planned, designed and managed their own stalls.
The school was buzzing with excitement as our Year 6 families and students from Prep to Year 6 explored the vibrant marketplace. From arcade games, popcorn, brownies and cupcakes to Minion marshmallows, hair accessories, jewellery, lip glosses, temporary tattoos, photo booths and so much more, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The colourful displays and enthusiastic stallholders created a fun and welcoming atmosphere, making the event a wonderful celebration of student learning.
Beyond the excitement of the day, the Charity Fete encouraged our Year 6 students to consider how they can make a positive impact on the wider community. We are incredibly proud that all proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to three worthy organisations: The Fred Hollows Foundation, The Healing Foundation and The Smith Family.
Thank you to our Year 6 students for their hard work and dedication, and to our families and school community for their generous support in making this event such a memorable success.
