Year 11

As we prepare for an exciting and busy Term 4, here are some important updates and reminders for our Year 11 students and families. 

Year 12 Jackets 

Year 12 jacket try-ons will take place during the first week of Term 4. We recommend budgeting approximately $130, with the exact price to be confirmed early next term. Payment will be required within the first two weeks of Term 4 to avoid any delays with delivery. For those who may have missed the announcement, Option 2 was voted as the winning jacket design! 

Congratulations to Annie 

Annie Clish made the AFL National Futures Squad and played last weekend as a curtain raiser for the AFLW St Kilda vs Richmond game. The Futures program featured a camp and training session at the Hanger.  Players were nominated for the Futures programs by State talent managers, national selectors and AFLW club recruiters. 

This week the AFLs Talent League announced Annie has also made the team of the year.

Looking Ahead to Term 4 

Term 4 is shorter for Year 11 students, with plenty to fit into a busy few weeks. Students will complete their Year 11 examinations, VM students will participate in work experience, and the year will conclude with the Step Up program as students officially begin their Year 12 journey! 

Students and families are encouraged to check Compass regularly and remain aware of all relevant dates and requirements. 

Trial Examination Reminder 

Students completing a Unit 3 and 4 subject will undertake trial examinations during the second week of the school holidays. Students are expected to attend in full school uniform. 

Trial examinations provide an important opportunity for students to experience formal exam conditions, practice their examination skills and receive valuable feedback ahead of their VCAA examinations in Term 4. 

The scheduled time and location of each trial examination can be found on the student’s Compass schedule. Please ensure this has been checked and that students are aware of the examinations they are required to attend.
