It’s almost the end of Term 3, and what a busy and exciting term it has been! Here’s a look at what has been happening in the library and some useful resources and reading ideas for the upcoming term break.
BOOK WEEK 2026
During Book Week, the School Library, in collaboration with other departments, organised and hosted a range of fun and engaging activities for our students.
This year, we celebrated the theme “Symphony of Stories”, highlighting the wonderful world of books, storytelling, and imagination.
It was wonderful to see so many students enjoying this year’s Book Week. We hope to make next year’s celebrations even bigger, better, and more exciting!

TERM BREAK READING TIPS & SUGGESTIONS
With the term break just around the corner, why not make some time for reading?
Reading during the holidays doesn’t have to feel like homework. Choose something that interests you and read at your own pace.
Our Term Break Reading Tips:
- Choose a book about something you enjoy.
- Try a genre you haven’t read before.
- Read for a few minutes each day.
- Mix it up; try a novel, graphic novel, magazine, audiobook, or eBook.
- Explore the library’s ePlatform collection from home.
- Ask library staff for a recommendation if you’re not sure what to choose.
- Revisit an old favourite; sometimes the best books are the ones we already love!
