Deadly Directions Career Expo

On Friday 28 August, our Koorie students were lucky enough to visit the Casey Aboriginal Gathering Place to attend the Deadly Directions Career Expo. After listening to an inspiring speech from Shawn Andrews, students explored the range of opportunities available to Koorie students after leaving school, including universities, TAFEs and trade pathways.

The students also enjoyed the opportunity to build connections with other local students and even joined in a basketball game together. Ms Whitfort, Mrs Squires and Ms Foster were incredibly impressed with the way our students represented the school and demonstrated such positive engagement throughout the day.
