Guten Tag!

Prep to Grade 2 students concluded their German studies for the Semester with a focus on World environment Day. We learnt about recycling in Germany and how using ‘weniger Plastik’ (less plastic) can help the environment and all the animals. The Prep students created a presentation about themselves including a self portrait, their name, age and favourite colour.

Term 3 has seen the Grade 3 to 6 students engage in German through music, speaking and writing about themselves and their families. We are also familiarizing ourselves with where in the world German is used as an official language and how the German used in these countries does vary from one place to another. Parents could ask their children if they can identify which countries the six flags above represent.
