The Arts

What a term we have had! It has been such a pleasure creating and exploring art with the students over the last nine weeks. Next term will also be very exciting, as we begin rehearsals of our annual End of Year Concert. But before that, have a look at how the students of Moriac finished off Term 3.
Grades Prep-2
In Visual Arts, the Prep-2 completed a few more puppet creations, such as finger-leg puppets and spoon puppets. In Drama, the students brought in their own puppets to use as we created short performances and explored the differences between improvisation and rehearsal.
Grades 3-6
In Visual Arts, the 3-6 students have explored more of the elements of Art, including space and texture. This included using a mixture of shaving cream, PVA glue and food dye to create fluffy, gooey ice-creams. In Media Arts, students finished editing their films, as well as reviewing each other's movies on what went well and how they could be improved. We look forward to our excursion at the start of next term to see our movies up on the big screen at Reading Cinemas.
Thank you, and have a wonderful holiday!
