P.E. - Will 4C ‘Be a learner’ Will consistently demonstrates outstanding participation, always applying himself with determination and effort.

Visual Arts - Elena FB ‘Be Respectful’ Elena demonstrated kindness and respect during art when showing concern because she did not want a classmate, who had been absent, to miss out on creating our beautiful dragonfly artwork. You have a wonderful, big heart Elena and you deserve this award. Congratulations!

Chinese - Boadie Brown 6C (Be a Learner) Boadie has demonstrated positive learning behaviours by engaging in creating his own Moon Lantern as well as embracing cultural celebrations. It has been a pleasure to see him  including others in Chinese Class and celebrating other’s successes. Well Done Boadie. 

L.L.I. (Year 4) - Abigail 4A (Be a Learner) Abigail you have worked so hard in L.L.I this term and are showing wonderful growth in your reading. I love how you read with so much expression. Keep working hard!

 

6B - Sione - (Be A Leaner) Sione, you have demonstrated remarkable growth across all subject areas this term. Your success is a direct result of your unwavering commitment to putting in 100% effort in everything you do. You consistently approach your work with a positive mindset, showing resilience and determination even when faced with challenges. What truly sets you apart is your openness to feedback, you actively listen, reflect, and apply suggestions to improve your skills and understanding. Keep it up!

6C - Boston and Francois for going out of their way to pick up rubbish during the break. They have chosen to spend their lunchtimes walking around the school and collecting rubbish. This has been entirely their own initiative, and they have done it consistently without any prompting. Their actions show great responsibility, initiative, and care for our school environment.

 

5A - Ziah (Be Respectful) for always treating the classroom with respect. You take care of our shared space, use resources responsibly, and help create a positive learning environment. Your thoughtful actions show pride in your classroom and encourage others to do the same.

5B - Monica (Be respectful) for showing respect to all teachers at DPW.  Being a great role model and leader for your classmates.

5C - Vernika (Be Respectful) being an honest and trustworthy student.

 

4A - Sidak (Be a Learner / Be Respectful) Sidak was a great collaborator and support to her team members during our recent forces investigation. While planning, designing and building her egg structure with a small group, she communicated clearly and shared practical ideas that contributed to the success of the project! Well done Sidak!

4B - Sabrina (Be Safe) for being an excellent buddy to her Foundation Student. She shows care, consideration and adaptability. Unexpected behaviours from her buddy can sometimes make working with them a little difficult, but Sabrina works hard to keep her included and on task. Well done.

4C - Beverly (Be Respectful) Beverly you always show great care and consideration for others. You are extremely patient and I am very grateful to have you in 4C. Well done.

 

3A - Sarah (Be a Learner) for demonstrating pride in her learning while writing her explanation text this week. She included topic specific vocabulary and a range of adjectives to enhance her writing. Well done, Sarah!

3B - Coen (Be a Learner) for demonstrating excellent growth in reading this term. Your strong comprehension skills are evident in the thoughtful and detailed answers you provide. Keep up the fantastic effort, Coen!

3C - Hamza (Be a Learner) This award is for the consistent and high-level effort Hamza has been putting in during whole class discussions this week. It is amazing to see the way he shares his answers and opinions with confidence. Great work, Hamza!

 

2A- Hirad for being a dedicated learner in our mathematics lessons. He actively contributed to class discussions and worked hard to develop his understanding of halves and quarters of lengths and collections. Fantastic effort as always, Hirad! 

2B - Dion (Be a Learner) always shows great enthusiasm for her learning and tries her best to keep improving her work. She takes pride in how her work looks and ensures it is neat and well presented. Outstanding effort Dion!

 

1A -  Nooh (Be a Learner) for his commitment to learning and the effort shown in developing engaging narrative writing pieces.

1B - Lata (Be a Learner) for coming to school each day ready to learn! He approaches every part of his learning with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Great job, Lata, keep up the amazing effort!

 

FA - Ollie has shown great enthusiasm as a learner. He has been an active participant in Literacy sessions, consistently stretching and blending sounds to read and spell words. Keep up the fantastic work, Ollie!

FB - Elshania (Be respectful) Elshania consistently follows our classroom routines and shows the school value of Respect in everything she does. She makes sure everyone feels included and valued, helping to create a positive and welcoming environment for all. Well done, Elshania!

FC - Dejan (Be a learner/Be Respectful) This week Dejan demonstrated positive learning behaviour when he remembered to put up his hand and wait to be asked, before sharing his answers and ideas with the class. Keep up the great work, Dejan! 🙂
