📣 End of Term Update

As we wrap up another busy and exciting term, I would like to wish all our families a safe, happy, and restful school holiday break. We encourage everyone to enjoy some fun activities, recharge, and spend quality time together.

Thank you to students and staff for a great term of learning and thank you to parents for your ongoing support and bringing your children to school on time every day.

Please remember that we finish early on Friday and students need to be collected at 2:30pm.

School will resume on Monday, October 6th.

The 'Dates to Remember' Calendar for Term 4 has been sent home, please remember to stick this onto your fridge to remind you of events coming up.

👕 Uniform Reminder

The school holidays are a great time to check and update your child’s uniform ready for Term 4. Please ensure that all items meet our school uniform guidelines and students have school a hat. A friendly reminder that long-sleeved tops under dresses, T-shirts with logos, or non-uniform items should not be worn. If you need to purchase new uniform pieces, now is a good opportunity to do so. Please ensure your child's name is clearly written on their clothing items including their hat.

🥪 Healthy Lunchboxes Matter

We have noticed a growing number of lunchboxes containing mostly packaged foods such as chips, lollies, and biscuits. While occasional treats are okay, we strongly encourage families to include more nutritious options like sandwiches, fruit, vegetables (e.g., carrot sticks), and other whole foods.

Good nutrition plays a vital role in supporting learning, concentration, and overall wellbeing at school. Thank you for your support in promoting healthy habits.

Parents in School

Friendly Reminder…parents should not be entering the school buildings unattended. For example, parents should not be going into the corridor to get their child’s bags, entering buildings outside of school hours or using the student toilets. Please come to the office and we are happy to help you with any enquiries.

Kelly Club

Kelly Club has been conducting special sports sessions on Friday. Anyone can enrol and join these sessions so if you are looking for an opportunity for your children to do some sports and engage in social situations. Please contact Harminder (Kelly Club) to enrol for next term. (See photos of students enjoying their sports session below.)

Clubs

I saw that students have harvested a big bunch of celery grown in the school veggie patch. We also have other clubs in the school including guitar, choir, Chinese and Art clubs. I had the pleasure of working with a few students during Art Club this term and they created some artwork using simple lines. See pictures of Saanjh and Jolisa with their creations below and the harvest from our enviromental area.

Wishing you all a relaxing and enjoyable break – we look forward to seeing everyone back in Term 4!

Kind Regards,
