Cooking - Baker's Shop

A big thankyou to Juliette from Tawonga Baker for coming out and showing us the ins and outs of making sour dough bread. She then stepped us through the technique of making our own sour dough pita breads.

This term, our Year 9 Indonesian students delved into the dynamic world of traditional Indonesian sports. Through independent research and engaging presentations, students explored games such as sepak takraw, pencak silat, Jemparingan and pacu jalur, uncovering their cultural significance, regional origins, and unique rules. The classroom came alive with curiosity and pride as students shared their findings, sparking lively discussions and deepened intercultural understanding. This activity not only strengthened their language skills but also highlighted the rich diversity of Indonesia’s sporting heritage.
