K Pop Demon Hunters Characters

Students have been loving the K-pop Demon Hunters movie, so we created our own characters at before-school care. Students chose whether their character would be a demon or a hunter and assigned them special traits and abilities. They developed their creativity skills as they designed their character, carefully choosing different colours and patterns. This was a really fun, engaging activity!

Culture Club

This week we visited Korea in Culture Club!

The students engaged in a variety of activities, from playing Ddakji to Red Light, Green Light. We also made a traditional Korean-style punch, Hwachae using a combination of fruits with milk and fizzy drink! At the end of the week, students reflected on their trip in their passports.

They’re looking forward to visiting America next week!

Outdoor Play

As the weather’s been improving, we’ve been spending more time playing outside. The kids have enjoyed playing different group games, including pole tag, octopus, and fruit salad. These games support the development of essential social skills like communication and cooperation, which promote positive relationships among students.

Epic Games

The students have loved competing in many different board games this week! We played Twister and Uno, strengthening students’ cognitive skills like critical thinking. These games are great as lots of people can play, fostering a big sense of community. Congrats to all of our winners!
