Study Focus in Senior School

The year has started strong with a high rate of attendance at Study Thursdays. Each week students collaborate with teachers and each other in the library to boost their skills and get ahead in their education. The response has been wonderful, and we look forward to it continuing in Term 2!

Our VCE students have also been extending their study knowledge this year through sessions with Elevate Education. The Year 12's have completed a Study Sensei course through Soaring Start Camp, and the Year 11's this week delved into Time Management. The feedback from the session was excellent, with many especially excited about the apps they can put on their phone to help them focus. 

Elevate also came out to speak to VCE parents this month. They presented the families with the information that the students see and were able to offer great tips and resources for supporting students at home during their final years. Elevate occasionally offer online parent seminars; these will be communicated via the Compass newsfeed whenever they pop up, so watch that space!
