Emmanuel College

As we enter the last week of Term 1, we would like to congratulate students, staff and families for the wonderful achievements of the term and we look forward to more great things in Term 2.

There is always something happening at Emmanuel College; our Year 7s from Notre Dame Campus went to camp at Portsea and Mt Evelyn where new friendships were formed and exciting activities enjoyed. Going on camp early in Term 1 is another great way for students to get to know each other.

It was wonderful to welcome past students to our recent Alumni Business Breakfast. Guest Speaker Jelena Dokic (former World No. 4 tennis player) had everyone enthralled with her candid and at times, confronting stories of resilience and helping others. Alumni events are a great way for past students to catchup after graduating from Emmanuel. Past students are very welcome to join the Alumni group by emailing: alumni@ecmelb.catholic.edu.au

We know that commencing secondary school is a big jump from primary school. We are delighted that so many students and families were able to join in the recent Yr 7 2025 Amazing Race at each campus. This event is another orientation opportunity for students to participate in a fun activity, meet students from other schools and get to know their way around their new school.

Congratulations to students from St Paul’s Campus that won Round 1 of the DAV debating competition last week. It is inspiring to see students achieve personal best in all areas of school life, including debating, sport, music, arts, the VCE-Vocational Major program just to name a few.
