Cricket Victoria’s afterschool Cricket Blast Program

Students enjoyed their first week of the after school cricket program which was run by Jake DeArugo from Cricket Victoria. Students enjoyed learning a number of cricket based skills such as catching, throwing, bowling and fielding. Students also played some fun games to conclude the session. This program will run for another 2 weeks after school on a Wednesday from 3.15 - 4.15pm.

 

 

 

Book Club

Thank you to Shelley McFarlane for offering to manage Book Club for us. 

 

 

AUSKICK

Information about AUSKICK in Rochester

  • This Auskick Centres total price is $91. 
  • Please read through the terms of participation before signing up, https://play.afl/terms-of-participation-players 
  • For any registration queries, please email aflauskick@afl.com.au 
  • Rochester Auskick will run on: Sunday at 10am to 11am at Rochester Recreation Reserve. 
  • The Season will commence on the 21st of April 2024 and will consist of at least 10 sessions. For more information please contact Coordinator Sharelle Riordan on 0408 501 513.

Before & After School Care

If a St Joseph's family wish to use the service, they are to apply to Rochester Primary School in the first instance. RPS will consider the application and inform the family of the decision in a timely manner. So, if you need the service, please don't leave it until the last minute to apply.

 

I am happy to assist families with these applications. Please let me know what your needs are and I will help write the letter requesting permission.

Care Meals

St Joseph’s prides itself on being a community that is compassionate, connected and caring. At times we all need support, resources and a helping hand. 

In 2023, we had donations of meals to our school from catholic schools in our cluster. We are now looking for families that can donate care meals for our freezer. 

Please email etrewick@sjrochester.catholic.edu.au  if you are interested in assisting with this program. 

 

We have foil trays that we can send home with your child/children for you to fill with a homemade meal, for a family in need within our community.
