Year 8 Poetry Slam Final

Ezibee and N'fa Jones with the winning performers

Loud and lively performance poetry

The poetry slam was a fantastic opportunity for all year 8s to write a poem with guidance as well as being given the chance to perform. It was a loud, lively event with audience participation included. Performing was a thrilling experience that allowed the poets to express their thoughts and comments in a fun and creative manner. Listeners were able to click their fingers to show their support for the poets and encourage them. Overall the poetry slam was an amazing, entertaining and educational experience for all year 8s.
