Triennial Excursion

Inspiring artworks at the NGV

Our year 10 Art of Revolution class recently had an excursion to the NGV’s Triennial, showcased every 3 years with 100 artworks from over 120 different artists. It was an incredible experience to see so many different styles and ideas of artists, much of which helped inspire the art we’ve been working on. The triennial was shown on all levels of the NGV, so we all got time to spread out across each floor and admire the art. After a few hours we took a break to have lunch, and then headed to have a look at this years Top Arts exhibition, where we saw an entry by a student from our own school! Despite our tired feet it was a great day, and we all got a lot out of it.
