Flower & Garden Show excursion
Last Thursday the year 4s went on an excursion to the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. Students caught the tram with their group and spent the day exploring the many exciting exhibits of the day. Some students reflect on their highlights from the day.
Mandela: "I had never been to the flower show before. It was a good experience. I liked to see all the different types of plants and we found a Queen Bee!!"
Lucy "I liked the day a lot!! My favourite part of the day was probably walking around the venue ticking items off our show bingo card. We found them all!"
Marilia "I liked when we got free plants, food and showbags that had cool camera lenses in it that we could use to look at our plants more closely".
Willow "I liked hanging out with my friends all day and potting plants that we then got take home".
Alex "Here I am sawing limestone, helping the lady make her sculpture. This was my favourite part of the day. I also liked using the telescope to look at insect parts close up".
Thanks to Mr Angus for organising such a fun day!
