Welcome Back
Welcome back to Term 2 at Woodlands! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter break filled with relaxation and memorable moments with your loved ones. As we kick off Term 2, I'm delighted to see our students return, ready to dive into new adventures and learning experiences.
Our school has seen some exciting changes, including the addition of a new playground, providing our students with even more opportunities for fun and friendship during break times.
This term is shaping up to be a busy one, with many engaging events and activities ahead of us. From the upcoming Mother's Day Stall to the exciting camps, excursions and sporting events planned for our students.
I have every confidence that our students will continue to uphold our school motto, "Be Your Best," by approaching each day with enthusiasm, dedication to learning, and kindness towards one another.
Here's to a successful and rewarding Term 2 for our students, staff and families.
🎉 Exciting News:
New Playground Unveiled at Woodlands!
We're thrilled to share some fantastic developments that have taken place over the school break! One of the most exciting updates is the grand opening of our brand-new playground, made possible by the success of our recent Colour Run fundraising event. Since its debut, students have been eagerly exploring the vibrant new space, which offers even more room to play compared to our previous setup. To ensure fair access, different year levels have been assigned specific days to enjoy the playground fun.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible parent community whose generous contributions helped bring this project to life. With a total cost of $100,000, the Colour Run fundraiser's impressive $50,000 contribution played a significant role in making our playground dreams a reality.
But that's not all! Our school's front area has also received a makeover with a newly landscaped space, perfectly complementing the modern administrative building completed late last year.
Let's not forget to show our appreciation to the hardworking members of our Parent's n' Friends association, who continue to coordinate successful fundraising efforts such as the Colour Run and our upcoming Mother's Day stall.
