Term 3

This term has been filled with inspiring experiences that have fostered engagement, connection, and growth, exemplifying our school values of Respect, Responsibility, and Fairness.

Students have shown respect through teamwork, cultural appreciation, and creativity. Highlights included the Multicultural Assembly at Woodville High School featuring our Lion Dance students, the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra visit, SALA ‘Artilicious’ events, and participation in the Premiers Reading Challenge. The Royal Adelaide Show also provided opportunities to display creativity in art and cooking.

Responsibility was evident in academic efforts like PAT Testing, Phonics Screening, and Science Week activities, as well as community initiatives such as Flash Mentoring and Nude Food Day. Year 6 camp further encouraged leadership and independence.

Fairness shone through in competitive and collaborative activities like Sports Day, debating, and soccer and basketball tournaments. The Bullying Week of Action reinforced inclusivity and safe learning for all.

Additional events included choir performances, Fire Brigade visits, the Aboriginal STEM Learners Conference, and ongoing wellbeing initiatives like the Sensory Yard Development and Morning Running.

Thank you for supporting our students in embracing our values and thriving within our vibrant school community.
