St Mary’s School Advisory Council  

The School Advisory Council met last week and engaged in robust discussions and exploration of our school's recent academic data. We specifically examined NAPLAN results and mapped the trends over the past five years. We observed positive increases in all focus areas, and our aligned programs, supported by the data, have helped us target areas of need. The SAC found the data impressive and discussed potential ways to share this information with the wider community. We are currently exploring options as a leadership team. 

In line with Child Safe Guarding, we reviewed our complaints and grievance processes and discussed their clarity and accessibility. The SAC expressed the belief that the process is clearly communicated and appropriately progresses based on individual needs. 

The SAC has one final meeting scheduled to conclude the year 2026.
