From the Principal

It is hard to beleive we have nearly completed Week 2 in Term 4, the students have settled in really well and have been hard at work. Tomorrow I will meet with our current Year 5 students and start the process of designing the Year 6 Garments for 2026. This is always a fun experience for the students, the students pick the garment and the design, it is an easy way to empower the students and allow them to have a choice in their special uniform.

We are now in planning mode for 2026! If you are planning on moving or you are looking at changing schools for 2026, it would be great if you could please let me know ASAP as we have waiting lists in some year levels.

Production is now only two weeks away. Please make sure you have booked your tickets and are ready to go, this will help avoid any last minute stress. For the next two weeks (Week 3 and Week 4) our normal Wednesday specialist timetable will run on a Monday. Sport and Art will be on hold for the next few weeks as we put the final touches on Production. Art and sport lessons will be made up at the conclusion of our Production season.

Next two weeks:

Monday: Students will have dress rehersal for production during specialist time

Tuesday: Students will reherse production in their classes during Sports time

Wednesday: No specialist classes

Please note there will be NO ASSEMBLY on October 27th as we have had to shuffle around specialist classes for Production week.

Pilgrimage to Italy:

After my brief stay in Manchester and London I headed over to Rome to meet with the other Principal's from the Outer East Network. Our 3 days in Rome were jam packed with a visit to all four major basilicas (including walking through the Holy Doors), the Vatican, the Catacombes and some other sites around the timeless city. On the Wednesday we attended the Papal audience, which despite the rain was an amazing experience. Please enjoy some of the photos below from our time in Rome.

Information about Operoo:

Just a note for parents that Operoo will cease operations in Australia at the end of this school year. MACS have asked schools not to engage with other providers as they search for a replacement service. I will provide information to families as it comes to hand.
