Every term when our students come to school in casual clothes, they're doing more than just enjoying a break from uniform—they're changing lives. The gold coin donations collected on these days support two remarkable young people through World Vision: Su and Matisha.

Meet Su
Su is 17 years old and currently studying in Year 10. Through our sponsorship, Su has received essential support, including food and groceries to ensure proper nutrition, a personal hygiene kit for health and wellbeing, and the opportunity to participate in child protection workshops that help keep her safe and informed about her rights.

Meet Matisha
Matisha is 9 years old and in Grade 4. Our contributions have helped provide Matisha with school books necessary for learning, access to art and craft workshops that nurture creativity and skill development, and, perhaps most importantly, a health centre closer to home, making medical care more accessible for Matisha and the entire community.
Beyond Individual Sponsorship
The impact of our donations extends far beyond Su Myat and Matisha. Our sponsorship helps strengthen entire communities. Farmers have received seeds and livestock tools to improve food security and build sustainable livelihoods. Both girls and boys in these communities now have access to regular health checks, ensuring early detection and treatment of health issues. Positive parenting workshops have been offered to families, creating safer and more nurturing environments for children to grow and thrive.
A Heartfelt Thank You
To all our students who generously contribute their gold coins each term: thank you. These small donations, when combined, create meaningful change in the lives of young people like Su Myat and Matisha, and help build stronger, healthier communities for everyone.
On the next Casual Clothes Day, remember that your gold coin is an investment in education, health, and hope for children around the world.

Congratulations to Nathan Lee, Marianna Novikov, Isabella Compson and Alison Foster, who all graduated from the Young Leaders Program on Monday. These four students have been wonderful ambassadors for our school. They have worked with a mentor to explore future work options, participated in public speaking workshops and cooking competitions, collaborated with environmental groups, and explored local industries and career paths. We are very proud of their achievements.
