Spotlight on Learning
Sea 1 & 2
This term, students in Sea 1 and 2 have been exploring decimals and mass through fun, hands-on activities. They have been using scales to measure various objects, helping them understand how we compare and weigh things in real life. These lessons also support the development of problem-solving skills as students estimate and measure mass. By working with manipulatives such as cards and dice, the students can see and feel how decimals work, making learning both easier and more engaging.
After the holidays, the students have been working hard to build on what they have learned and continue improving. Hands-on learning encourages teamwork and communication among classmates. We are proud of the progress Sea 1 and 2 students are making with these important maths skills!
