Lantern Gallery Celebration
On 22 October, our school community came together to celebrate the Lantern Gallery, an event honouring both the Moon Festival and Diwali. With the theme “Under the Same Moon, We Share the Light,” the evening celebrated the shared values of light, hope, and unity across cultures.
Students showcased their creativity with beautifully crafted lanterns displayed throughout the gallery. Highlights included a vibrant lion dance, a captivating Bollywood performance, a heartfelt Diwali song, and an elegant Guzheng demonstration.
It was a joyous celebration of cultural diversity and community spirit, reminding us all that, no matter where we come from, we shine together under the same moon.
Festival of Children's Music - Year 4 Choir
Last night, our Year 4 choir performed with nine other schools as a combined children's choir in the Festival of Children's Music (FOCM). This concert was held at The Concourse and is a showcase of choral and instrumental performances from students across schools in the Sydney metropolitan area.
The Year 4 choir has worked hard all year with Miss Brown and Miss Ko to learn a repertoire of ten songs for the concert. The students sang beautifully, and we are very proud of their performance and commitment to choir throughout the year. Thank you to the parents, grandparents, and siblings who came to enjoy the concert and support the performing arts.
A huge shout-out also goes to our amazing school captain, Yena N, for being one of the compères for the concert and representing our school with pride and excellence.
