School Bus Travel

Applications are now open for 2026 School Student Transport Scheme (SSTS) travel.

Eligible cards are automatically updated for the new school year, so you'll only need to apply if you're:

  • applying for a school travel pass for the first time
  • changing name, school and/or address, or
  • requesting an extra pass as a result of a new shared parental responsibility situation.

Note:

If you have applied for a student travel pass before, you will need a different page:

The student must:

  • be a resident of NSW or an overseas student eligible for free government education.
  • be aged 4 years and 6 months or older. Pre-school children are not eligible.
  • live a minimum distance from their school. The minimum distance varies according to the year or grade the student is enrolled in during that calendar year.

You need to live a minimum distance from your school to be eligible for a free school travel pass. The minimum distance varies according to the year/grade you are enrolled in, in that calendar year:

  • Years K to 2 (Infants): no minimum distance
  • Years 3 to 6 (Primary): 1.6 kilometers straight line distance or 2.3 kilometers walking or further from home.

Note: Free school travel is not available to students who live within the following distances from their school. However, the student may still qualify for a School Term Bus Pass.

If you are unsure of while bus service you need to register for, please use the below Trip Planner to find out.

Winter to Summer Uniform Transition

Students can choose either Winter or Summer uniforms for the first two weeks of this term. By week 3, they need to be in their Summer Uniforms.

School Hats

Many students are forgetting to pack their school hats. Please ensure your child has their hat each morning and that their name is written on it. The front office used to have a bundle of spare hats but these have been lent out and not returned. You can not rely on your child being able to borrow a hat. If your child does have a hat labeled spare or Mrs. Vasta, please wash this and return it to the front office. Hats are available for purchase from our uniform shop or the front office for $12. You are able to send $12 in with your child to purchase school hats if you need from the front office.

Girls Uniforms- Old style dresses and winter uniforms

We have had enquiries from families who have old style school dresses and winter formal pants/shirts at home that they do not know what to do with. You can drop them to us. We will try and source a charity that would like bulk matching uniforms to pass them onto. If you could drop them in by the end of Week 1, Term 4, that would be appreciated so we can send them all off together.

Book Club-Final issue for the year

The final issue of Book club for the year is due Friday the 31st October 2025. Please log in and place your Christmas stocking filler orders now! If you do not want your order sent home with your child, please let us know and we will hold it for "secret squirrel" collection.

Those that have $5 promo codes need to use them on this order before they expire.

Scholastic are giving away up to 3 books on orders valued over $25 from this issue. Please see the back of the catalogue for details, or read about it on their website.
