Parent Learning Walks & Talks
Have you ever wondered how learning happens during a school day?
Now is your chance to find out!
This term we are offering Parent Learning Walks and Talks to provide you with the opportunity to learn more about teaching and learning at St Joseph's.
Every week, teachers conduct learning walks in each classrooom. It is a strategic practice to learn from each other, monitor implementation of annual planning goals and observe the consistency of learning and teaching across our school.
Now it is your chance to take part! Add the following dates to your diary:
English Learning Walk and Talk: Thursday 30th October
Mathematics Learning Walk and Talk: Monday 10th November
Spaces will be limited and booking forms will be released next week.
You will be required to:
- Participate in a pre-walk meeting and information session with Mrs Yates & Mrs Murphy
- Follow our Learning Walks and Talks protocols
- Participate in a debrief conversation after our learning walk and talk
