Help Needed - Celebration of the Arts

As you have just read, a major school event, we always require parent support to make the whole evening work. Read below for the many ways you can help us to make this event a success;
Sign up to volunteer
Rather than a traditional school performance, the evening becomes a whole-school social event with food stalls, an art show (this year in the Parks Victoria pavilion) and a chance to connect with other families. This year we have arranged Nem Nem, a Vietnamese food truck to serve food during the event. We will also have a cake stall, sushi and kettle corn
During the evening there will be musical and dance performances featuring every student.
We require a large number of parent volunteers to donate 30- 60 minutes of their time on the evening to staff the stalls so no one goes hungry. The phrase 'many hands makes light work' has never been more true and, by signing up, you can ensure that our hard working SKIPPA parents also get a chance to enjoy the evening and see their children perform.
To allow you to choose a volunteer time slot that means you don't miss your child performing, the running order and times for performances are here;
If you can help out, please sign up to the roster using this link;
Bake for the Cake Stall
We would love as many donations as possible for the cake stall which will run outside the pavilion near the art show.
Please drop your donations of baked goods to the school kitchen on October 22nd or 23rd.
Please include ingredients/allergens list and label your container if you want it returned.
Thank you for your support!
Help us with the event set up on the day
Our Arts team of Chantel and Melanie are always keen to hear from parents who may have some time, either in the lead-up to the event, or on the day itself, to help prepare the performances, setup the Art Show, dress the stage and generally help us make the event happen.
Please contact Chantel on chantel.jose@education.vic.gov.au if you can help.
